Bringing This Year to a Close and a New Beginning

Dawn Gramza – Department President 2025-26

Dawn Gramza, Department President 2025-2026

As my term as the Department of Michigan President ends, my heart is filled with gratitude. Serving the members of the Michigan Department of the American Legion Auxiliary has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Throughout this year, I have witnessed the kindness, dedication, patriotism, and service that remind me why our organization continues to make such a difference in our mission and continues the legacy of service established by those who came before us.

As we turn the page to a new Auxiliary year, I extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes to our upcoming 2026-2027 Department President, Anita Mennel. May your year be filled with inspiration, friendship, growth, and countless opportunities to make a positive impact. I know you will lead with passion, dedication, and a commitment to serving others.

To all our members, I encourage you to continue supporting your new leadership team and remain engaged in the important work of the American Legion Auxiliary. The future of our organization is bright because of you.

Thank you for allowing me to serve as your Department President. The friendships made, memories shared, and experiences gained will remain with me forever. Though my commitment to the ALA and its mission will continue.

May God bless our veterans, their families, the Michigan Department, and the American Legion Auxiliary. With heartfelt gratitude, your 2025-2026 Department of Michigan President.
