Fall Conference in Gaylord: Where to Eat, What to Do, and What to Know Before You Go

Heading north for Fall Conference? We’ve put together two one-page guides to make your weekend at Treetops Resort a little easier — one for dining and supplies, and one for things to do for family and guests who aren’t in sessions.

Fall Conference — Nov. 6-8, 2026
Treetops Resort, Gaylord, Michigan
Arrival on Thursday, Nov. 5

Where to eat
Gaylord has plenty of budget-friendly options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus a couple of spots if you want a nicer night out. The dining guide covers 15 options — from Bob Evans, Big Boy, and Culver’s to downtown spots like Alpine Tavern & Eatery — along with addresses, hours, and price ranges.

Quick heads-up: the resort restaurant is closed Thursday night, so plan to eat off-site if you arrive Thursday. Friday–Saturday the resort restaurant is open 7 a.m.–10 p.m., and Sunday breakfast is grab-and-go only in the main lodge snack bar.

Supplies
Need groceries, pharmacy items, or last-minute essentials? The guide lists Walmart Supercenter, Meijer, Family Fare, and Walgreens, with addresses and hours.

Bringing family or guests who aren’t members?
The Things to Do guide is made for them. It includes 8 indoor and outdoor options around Gaylord — the free City Elk Park, Call of the Wild Museum, downtown Alpine Village shops, Aspen Park, Otsego Lake State Park, bowling and arcade at The Landing Zone, movies, and local breweries. November is shoulder season, so check hours before heading out, and dress for cooler weather.

Don’t miss this: Military Appreciation Night hockey
