Welcome to the 2026-2027 membership year. The Department membership committee invites you to join in the fun, celebrating and growing our organization. Our mission is for every Unit in the Department of Michigan to achieve goal membership by July 4, 2027. The Area Membership Chairs will be working closely with District Presidents and District Membership Chairpersons to accomplish our goals. They are an excellent group of members who will offer assistance to help with membership and ALAMIS questions.
The Department of Michigan Membership Facebook page (ALA MI Membership) will be dissolved, and any posts will now be on the Department of Michigan Facebook page (American Legion Auxiliary Department of Michigan). You may consider joining the National Membership Facebook page (American Legion Auxiliary National Membership Group).

An updated membership program guide will be published on our Department’s website by September. It will contain a complete list of Department and National awards and more detailed membership information. Remember that membership is everyone’s responsibility.
