The Veteran Service Office of the American Legion Department of Michigan is holding its annual training at the Higgins Lake DNR Ralph MacMullen Center on August 18, 19, and 20, 2026. This training is open to Accredited Veteran Service Officers and American Legion Family members who want a better understanding of VA Benefits and resources for Veterans.
If you are not an Accredited VSO, you will not be trained to file claims, but the training will give you the information and resources to find an Accredited VSO to file a claim, and to understand the other resources available that can help the Veteran.
